Discovered my passion for Electronic music around the mid to late 80’s mainly from video games.
The Dj interest came when a close friend and neighbour of mine at the time bought me a few 45 singles for my birthday, he would also have regular mini 'discos’ in his garage borrowing his older brothers Vinyl records who was a local DJ at the time.
The electronic waves of sound pulled me in and i began purchasing Vinyl records myself.
For the first part part of my DJ journey it was mainly online Radio and local Pubs/Bars i played at.
Until a competition mix for an Oldskool Ibiza event gained some recognition on here and on Social Media and i began to recieve numerous bookings within the Oldskool scene.
Many coming at the ever growing S2S Festivals, playing alongside household names such as : Slipmatt,Stu Allan, K-Klass, The Rat Pack, Mark XTC, DJ Faydz, Paul Taylor (for his Retro brand) and many more established top Djs within the scene. Follow DJ Ray Baker on Facebook
