Back focuses primarily on the greatest decades for music. That would be the 70’s, the 80’s, and the 90’s, with an eye toward the Rock, Hard Rock, Alternative, Power Pop, Metal, Punk, and Indie scenes. Of course, he loves to venture out into different styles and eras, particularly if you wade out far enough into the Deep End, during the last 30-or-so minutes of the show, where anything goes. He’s also partial to sampling things from TV, movies, and records, and taking them out of context. Expect the unexpected!
