Ed Chálace has an apportioned feeling to control the sound system and moment under one roof, this being his 26th year in the making with a particular vision. “The feeling and response from those moments are timeless. Therefore it is only right he devote more time enabling his opportunity to travel, sharing what has been composed for like-minded individuals.”
Chálace is a Southwest native since ’81, born in El Paso, Texas. His influence comes from southwest culture, the land, sound, layers and movement. ”I always give thanks for being born and raised on the border, with its unique, once in a lifetime experience. Real art is fusing one’s soul into the creative process – expressing time within as well as around.”
Chálace’s musical interests and styles can be listed in such categories as: deep/funky/tech house/techno, raw techno, broken beats, electro, minimal, ambient/drone, jazz, cultural roots and melodies layered with a heavy dose of bare-bones percussive drum rhythms and bass lines.
