Miami-based DJ and producer Ernesto Hidalgo is an exciting rising talent, making a name for himself with his unique blend of Breakbeat and Techno, the only constant is sub cracking’ tunes. Better known to his fans as E.R.N.E.S.T.O, the Venezuelan-born artist has released tracks on the likes of Toolroom, Dirtybird, Bunny Tiger, Punks Music, Psycho Disco!, Trippy Ass Technologies and Box of Cats.
E.R.N.E.S.T.O’s groundbreaking productions are molded by his nomad upbringing, a culture clash of Latin groove and underaged trips to Ibiza, mixed with a deep dive into Miami Bass, Chicago Juke and Detroit Electro. This unique blend has garnered support from the likes of Claude VonStroke, Loco Dice, Stanton Warriors, Christian Martin, Sage Armstrong, and landed him coveted sets at Dirtybird Campout, Hallucination Before Christmas, Space Miami and Imagine Festival.
