I "came out" in the late 70's, in my 20's. I quickly fell in love with club music and dancing and couldn't get enough. I was taken to Trocadero Transfer about 1980. It feels as if I wasn't even alive before then, like my previous life was just in preparation for The Troc. I grew up and became a man on that dance floor every single weekend for the next 4+ years. The experience profoundly changed my life on every level. Now, there is NO music that moves my soul like Troc music. There is no music that makes me automatically get up and dance, no matter where I am (lol!). And there is no music that always brings me to tears with warm and happy memories of the beloved friends I shared those years with, who have all passed. Those tears are always bittersweet with the sadness of missing them, with the joy of reliving the happiest time of my life, and also with the profound feeling of just being alive and how sweet that can be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping that music alive.
