My first encounter with great uplifting electronic music was in the Swiss mountains listening to Jean Michel Jarre in the early 80's. In the early 90's I witnessed a variety of underground trends in house music being played in legendary Dutch clubs like the Beatclub, Silo, iT, RoXY and Trance Buddha in Amsterdam, NightTown (Rotterdam), Hemkade and Waakzaamheid (Zaandam).
