Brooklyn, United States

DJ Kulcha started his career in 1988 doing college parties at Stony Brook University. He also worked a weekly radio show on 90.1 WUSB. In between classes he made mixtapes that helped launch his career. What started out as a hobby in his dorm room quickly turned into a lifestyle change. As word spread, he started spinning college parties all over the East Coast including NYU, Colgate, Cornell, Binghamton, Albany, Towson, New Paltz, Hofstra, Maryland, St. Johns, Syracuse and Delaware. Shortly after graduating, DJ Kulcha was getting booked all over New York and the Tri-State Area. He has played at such legendary clubs as Studio 54, The Tunnel, The Roxy, Copacabana, Limelight, Eugenes, Metronome, BB Kings, Providence, Mars and Mars 2112 to name a few. It wasn't long before he was deejaying venues in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, North Carolina, D.C., Boston, Virginia, Cancun, Jamaica, Martinique and The Bahamas. Today, he still spins weekly in New York and at clubs all over the world.
