Gasparillo, Trinidad and Tobago
My name is Gerald James aka Dj JimmyJam TnT. I was born in the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. At the moment I live in a small town called Frutillar in the South of Chile.
I was first introduced to DJing in 2000 when I was invited to play Reggae music at a bar in San Fernando, Trinidad. A friend came up to me after and said "JimmyJam!" and that name has stayed with me ever since. I now go by the name of "JimmyJamTnT" which associates me with my home country. I mostly played Reggae, Dancehall and Soca at that time.
I worked on the cruise ship for two years where I got more experience playing and participating in many events in the crew bar of the ship.
When I arrived to Chile, I learned some new genres of music that I was not familiar with before including Afro-house, Afro-beats, Reggaeton, Latin house, Latin Reggae and Cumbia are a few of my favourites.
