Bio:
Raised in the scene on the mean streets of Virginia Beach, VA, Habitude, AKA Chris Hockhousen, started his musical journey right out of high school. Given a musical crash course on two Technic 1200’s, it was at this moment that Chris knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'.
First becoming interested in the electronic music scene in 1999, he was already being touted as a Virginia Beach upcomer at just nineteen. He did various warm up sets before the doors opened in clubs hosting major names such as Camo, Krooked, DJ Dara and many more plus a residency at The Beach House . In his career’s early years, Habitude achieved his big break when he started getting gigs and weeklies at big events such as Heartz, Buzz and Radiate, Tunnel NYC, StarScape, WMC. Now his on a roll in 2023! Taking 3rd for viewers choice on Aempd.org. And is now booking 2024 festival season.
