Ekki has spent the last 15 years traveling around the Mainland playing at events like Antidote (SH), YELLOW (SH & BJ), The Syndicate (BJ), YEN (BJ), The Drop (BJ), The Ice Cream Truck (SH), the infamous bootleg mash-up party Booty USA, the Great Wall Music Festival and at venues like Dada, Logo, The Shelter, plus many more.

In Beijing, she teamed up with her close friend Luke Ume to start their own event label ‘BAD EGG’ which focused on bringing quality bass music events to the capital.

After moving to Shenzhen she partnered with Delinquent Soul to form The Collectiv, a new addition to China’s drum and bass crews.
After they split to do their own thing, she focused on her other passion project - Sunset Funk - a rooftop funk, soul, disco and afrobeat party that she runs with DJ Tayta.

More recently, she has been performing at events with the drum and bass crews in Hong Kong.

Now she is working on taking her passion for drum and bass further, under the name DISSONANCE.
