My passion for electronic music started in the 80s listening to Hip Hop/Electro, the House/Techno/Rave sounds of Colin Dale & Colin Faver on (at that stage illegal) Kiss FM, and John Leech's Soul show on Essex Radio . The 90s were a mixture of learning to DJ, trawling record shops for vinyl, clubbing every weekend up and down the country, and building a huge CD collection (with a particular passion for the Electronica/IDM/Techno sounds epitomsed by 90s Warp). I even ran a night at London's infamous Cross nightclub for about 6 months.
These days I pride myself in the breadth of music that I enjoy listening to and DJing. Backed up by my 32k track playlists that have been painstakingly year and multi genre categorised, l am equally comfortable playing Disco/Funk Edits, early Progressive House, Classic Breaks or more recent House, Deep/Afro/Tech/Electro House, Electronica & Progressive Breaks.
