Defined By hailing from Lancaster and Preston combine, 90s and 00s indie guitar sounds with modern production to formulate the perfect blend of modern classics.

The Chief songwriting duo of Mike Adamson and Lee Egerton has enabled the band to headline the Ferret in 2025 and had them supporting bands such as ‘Florentenes’ and ‘Pendant’.

The hype around Defined By rose in 2024 with the releases of ‘God’s No Help’ and ‘Monopoly’ both Reaching vast attention .
The band’s single Blue Tonic hit Number 26 on Future Hits Radios Top 40 in September 2025.

With local radio stations beginning to champion Defined By, it will only be a matter of time before the band gets national recognition, and with a lucrative ep in the works, with a new sound being developed, it won’t be long before you hear new music from them again!
