Gratitude is a modern classic indie rock ballad by uprising modern throwbacks ‘Defined By’.
Hailing from Preston, Defined By combine modern sounds with 90s and 00s britpop inspiration.
Inspired by the likes of Noel Gallagher, Oasis and The Verve, the band have formulated a beautifully written ballad, blended with soaring vocals, open chord progressions and melodies that push out of the mix to produce the ultimate nostalgia with modern production quality, capped off with the memorable and singable Mike Adamson Guitar Solo.
The combination of frontman Lee Egerton’s creatively curated songwriting, Beeston Studio’s quality production and mix and a master by the one and only Pete Maher, famous for his work on Liam Gallagher and David Bowie Live albums, come together produce a complete and unique modern ballad.
