Welcome to "B U D D H A" ... The final instalment of my three part journey through the sounds of authentic New Age / Ambient music from Asia. After Japan and China, the journey finishes in India, with my favourite New Age / Meditation sounds created by India's top artists. The title of this set is inspired by the religion of Buddhism, although the music in this set contains influences from both Buddhism and Hinduism. Buddhism originated in North East India 2,500 years ago, before spreading across Asia. Most of the pieces in this musical journey were created for the purpose of meditation and healing. This is not necessarily intended to be a set created for entertainment purposes as such, but more of an audio soundtrack for relaxation and meditation. The first hour is more melodic and musically structured, while the second hour contains a more meditation focused collection of sounds. I hope this set relaxes you! ... ENJOY!!

Your expansive musical knowledge is on full display once again and I must say it is rather breathtaking. I love this of music, and perfectly suited for my mood today. Self-reflective and pondering my future path .... looking ahead ... open to the all that is yet to come ... this show and the others in the series are like a spiritual reset. I've been in a different frame of mind these last few months, so these ambient and relaxing sounds have acted as a kind of musical therapy ... Very happy to hear that you enjoyed the journey as well bro! ... I remember you mentioned you lived in India for a while, so maybe some of these tracks reminded you of your time in India 😄 ... I've posted almost 70 sessions on my page up to now, and at least 40 of them are house, so I will most likely continue to bring different genres to the table for a little while longer, before I eventually go full circle and get back to those lush deep house vibes ... Your feelings of missing India are similar to how I feel about Japan. Hoping to spend some time there next year, but we'll see ..... And India is on my list too, as well as Sri Lanka 🌞

What a very beautiful musical experience this was again Steve, I have to tell you again that you do have a special gift how to play these beautiful oriental sounds every time. And what I also really like about these sessions is how strongly you bring out nature in some parts, very nice. We really enjoyed it again Steve, I say we because you know how special my girlfriend thinks your oriental sessions are. I usually only listen to sets on my headphones or in my car, but we often listen to these sets of yours together and both enjoy them on our terrace.
