I was born in Newark, NJ and was introduced to DJing first in high school by 2 of my classmates Kevin Hedge and Stephen Wilson. Fell in love with house music in the New York/New Jersey Club scene, Zanzibar, Club 88 and anywhere else that played house music. But I didn’t realize I wanted to be a DJ until after college when I would go to after work parties run by a coworker who was a DJ Curt Gilmore. I started working with him in his mobile DJ business in the early 90’s as an MC first and then DJing was a natural progression. I’ve done more weddings and parties than I can count.
When my life changed in 1998 my music changed. I was invited to DJ a weekly youth service, at ST James AME church. A parent recommended for a gig at Branch Brook Skating rink in Newark for their Gospel skate and I’ve been their resident Gospel DJ for over 20 years and I end every set with Gospel House!
