DDD was a thought generated one evening by two Mums who, whilst drinking copious amounts of tea and listening to two Dads playing their record collection (only very slightly intoxicated) mentioned the fact that there was nowhere to take the kids and listen to "our" kind of music.
That was when the seed was sown.
After weeks of pondering and several name changes, DADS DO DISCO was then germinated.
We hired a hall, sent invites out and waited for the very first DDD which took place in November 2013.
Since then we host regular kid friendly nights with guesting D.J's, set to the backdrop of the music of our Youth.
Now...
If you enjoy 60's 70's 80's & Northern Soul, Hip Hop, Funk, Disco, Punk. Ska, Reggae, Indie and a slight smattering of cheese all played on vinyl, then please come and join us.
You don't need to have Kids.
Its not just for Dads.
