I'm rediscovering a personal archive of obscure psychedelic, progressive, and blues recordings that I collected over fifteen years ago.

My mixtapes are not archival collections of dozens of tracks from a given subgenre. They are standalone curatorial projects, each with its own arc and mood within a defined space - perhaps a journey from garage psychedelia back to the roots of raw blues, or a spectrum of colors across the folk-rock scale. Each album runs around 40 minutes, which I find ideal for focused listening.

I don't claim these are flawless projects - some mixtapes will be better than others, that's inevitable. I'm just an average collector who sorts and curates his findings. I aim for selections that can stand on their own feet - documents of an era when the music scene was searching for new forms. This is not about nostalgia. It's about giving these recordings a second chance to be heard.
