Hello everyone, welcome to The Original Melting Pot!
Back in the late 80s 90s I was DJing in and around London in various clubs and bars like The Red Eye Lewisham , Bensons Loughton and Regines in Chingford, whilst hosting a pirate radio show on Friends FM 100-7 every Saturday and Sunday morning .
This will be a weekly show, coming out every Friday.
The Original Melting Pot is a concept of Soul, JAZZFUNK, SOULFUL HOUSE, NORTHERN SOUL, DISCO-JAZZ. Plus new releases and everything that's classy in between all thrown together into the pot, spiced up, stirred together, and dished up HOTTTTT!!!!
Due to being diagnosed with tonsil cancer in August 2022, I have found myself with a lot of time on my hands and have fell back in love with my music. So i decided to do what I've spoken about for years which is to get my love of good music out to the world. So please enjoy and follow and tell your friends. One thing I want to say is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check yourself for any lumps or bumps!!
