DJ Shawdy originally grew up in Stockton, CA where he fell in love with 90s Hip-hop, Top 40, and Latin music. After moving to the Bay Area in 2008, he started in the music industry as a sound technician for concerts. While gaining tons of insight and experience, he had the opportunity of working with bands and artists such as: J. Cole, E-40, Bone Thugz & Harmony, Elle Varner, Bayonics, The Grouch, and many more. In 2012 he took his love for music and began his career as a mobile DJ performing at house parties, school dances, and weddings. As the years went by he continued to expand the types of events he worked, but always had a great passion for performing at bars and clubs. His inspiration comes from using his free time to attend and support many well-known DJs in the industry. DJ Shawdy’s experience and passion allows him to know how to play the tracks that will get people dancing and keep the party rocking.
