Self taught to beat mix in '89 at local youth club where luckily they had bought a 2nd hand pair of 1210's! Started mainly being into Happy Hardcore and Drum and Bass, playing at local house parties and various small time venues. Became aquainted with DJ Fish doing under 18's nights again playing Happy Hardcore.
Got listening to a lot of Vocal US House productions in '92/'93 time and fell in love with the genre. Biggest influences were Masters At Work, Todd Terry, David Morales, E-Smoove, Graeme Park to name but a few. Worked locally in several clubs/bars as resident and guest and continued to play house parties as well as outdoor sessions at World Waterskiing Championships.
