Pharoah was born and raised in Chicago during the Hip-Hop and House movement. During high school years, house was gaining momentum and he was immersed deeply into the culture. Unable to afford turntables he used anything he could get his hands on to practice (8-track tapes, cassette recorders, whatever). Long story short.. he's now a resident DJ in Las Vegas on Hot 97.5.
