Fonk (NL) is booker, organizer and most active as party DJ. Disco, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Reggae, Beats, Classics, House. In his sets Fonk seamlessly mixes all kinds of styles with the ultimate goal, feel good music. Positive vibes and funky grooves dominate his mixes that he has played at venues, festivals and events such as Bitterzoet, Paradiso, Solar, Lowlands & Exit festival.

Fonk was struck by the DJ virus in the Bossche Café Cordes after hearing a set by DJ Cortez. "I want that" he must have thought. Soon he went to work, started a DJ crew (Bralwerk), began booking DJ's in the same Café Cordes and put up a hiphop and reggae festival. Nowadays he is one of the resident DJ's in cafe Studio (Tilburg). Today he draws inspiration from the legendary radio shows of Gilles Peterson and Soulection and artists such as Mr. Scruff, Tom Misch, Hiatus Kaiyote, Anderson Paak, Erykah Badu, SBTRKT, Detroit Swindle, The Gaslamp Killer, Thundercat, Mura Masa, Jarreau Vandal and many others..
