As a DJ, I’ve come to realise that by playing across multiple genres, I seem to have multiple sounds. But I’ve never been a subscriber to putting things in a box. My taste in music is the sum of my experiences and influences, all boiling down to create the soundtrack of Damora.

Music means different things to me on different days, and often, many things at once. It can be the comfort and nostalgia of something familiar, or the joy of discovering a new sound that resonates with your taste.

What I connect with most is that it’s an art form that tells countless stories, both through the artist and the listener. It’s a form of expression that connects and unifies people physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The collective effervescence of it all is so powerful, and honestly, beautiful to experience and witness. It brings people together, even those who might never have crossed paths otherwise. It amplifies and creates communities.
