In 1992 Atticus Miranda experienced his first warehouse party which began a life long obsession with the sounds of the underground. He spent more 2 decades honing his skills as a technical DJ and experimenting with production. Through the years Atticus has played many styles but two characteristics consistently emerged in the music regardless of genre that provided a solid and true direction for his sound: rhythm and bass.

In 2010 the formation of Grime Syndicate breathed new life into Atticus’s music. The DC heavy hitters of bass were a staple on the scene. Atticus took advantage of opportunity to learn from other artists and focus more on production. The result was an EP and several successful remixes from four man rage machine. Atticus then went on to start a solo project under the name Pimpchanzee which was instrumental in helping to define his own production style.
