This DC native has had a deep passion for drum and bass that spans over a decade. A few years being in the scene, Encryption was drawn to the sound of neurofunk after hearing DC heroes, Sinthetix, play around the Washington, DC area.
After years DJing and opening up for some of the biggest names in drum and bass, Encryption began helping run www.DirtboxRadio.com, DC’s longest running drum and bass radio station, and making contributions to www.ExpansionBroadcast.com
Though his love for drum and bass runs deep, over the last six years Encryption’s interests have been branching towards the deeper sounds of dubstep. Playing more of a chilled out Deep Bass style, from Dark Melodic to Funky to Dub Roots, Encryption has something for everyone.
