Keat, also known as DJ WonderKid, was attracted to trance music when he was first exposed to dance music at the age of 13 while watching Tiesto performing Adagio for Strings on MTV channel. Having little knowledge on the fresh new genre, he began searching and looking for tracks related to the new sound particularly trance. His interest of becoming a DJ flourish when he bought his first dance album, In Search of Sunrise 6 compiled by Tiesto. He was attracted to how several tracks can be played continuously and creates a flow that can manipulate ones mood. Subsequently, he started to look out for schools namely music schools that teach the art of DJing. He then changed his approach after finding music schools do not offer this course. After some time, he found Royale DJ Academy managed by one of the Malaysia's legendary DJ, Bryan Burger. With the mentor and guidance of Bryan Burger, he mastered the basic art of Djing.
