I got into the rave scene when I was 43. Late Bloomer. After getting my appendix out in 2001, I learned to DJ while recovering from surgery. My friend Mary from socalraves.org was my biggest help, getting me out playing. I started with Progressive house and regular house, then breaks, and around 2003, I finally got into psytrance. I've played at Burning Man, many parties and a few clubs around Los Angeles, Masquerave (in a cave!) in Pittsburgh, Shambhala, LA Decom and Noizemakers at Coda Bar, among others. I dropped out of the scene after playing out for free for 10 years...got discouraged. Life also got in the way. Then I learned drums and played in a Metal Cover Band for a couple of years 2008-2009. Then life and work got in the way again. I have a good 27 year long career as a video quality control specialist, and still working, plus 38 years as a photographer.
