More than a DJ..

Tev Shakir began his DJ career as "DJ Tuke" at the University of Memphis in 2012. Appealing to his college audience with mixes of hip-hop and Top-40, Tev's first major opportunity arrived in 2014 when he became a mix show DJ for iHeartmedia Memphis' 101.9 KISS FM. After his first on-air experience ended in 2019, another quickly arose and he became a mix show DJ for HOT 107.1, Memphis' #1 station for "Tru Hip-Hop.” While displaying his versatility as a DJ and a producer, Tev is currently working to expand his brand that started as a passion and a hobby in college, in Phoenix, AZ.
