DJ Special K was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and currently resides in Gilbert, AZ. DJ’ing runs in the family with his grandfather and father mixing it up back in the day. He got his first pair of turntables at the age of 15 and hasn't let them go since then. His family and works of DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ AM, and DJ Vice is a strong inspiration to DJ Special K to reach the next level. DJ’ing is not just a hobby for Special K, it’s his life. Special K soon started doing weddings, house parties, charity events, bars, and concerts to get more exposure. In 2010 Special K joined Mega Don Entertainment where he is the resident show DJ. In January of 2012 he was hired as a Promotions Assistant at 101.5 JamZ and went on to become an On-Air mixer. He continues to master his abilities on the decks and taking his skills to the next level. Stay tuned...
