Rich Konert AKA DJ Richie Rich AKA R-Kon gained popularity as a DJ quickly in the late 80s working private parties for MTV. After graduating with a recording engineer degree, he worked at several recording studios in NYC such as Automated Sound Studios and Creative Audio. The homes for George Benson, Steely Dan, Al Jarreau, Mariah Carey, and many more. Rich Konert worked at several NYC Night Clubs including Palladium and especially, The Roxy NYC. His dynamic personality made him a natural entertainer.
