DJ Pingo was born and raised in the bay city of Gothenburg in West Sweden. When other kids were using their first computers to shoot up small pixels, DJ Pingo was blasting out tunes from his Commodore 64 and later his Amiga. This early training developed a later love of electronic and house music. Pingo still plays with music on his computer, but he’s upgraded from a C64.

West Sweden is well known for producing an eclectic mix of musicians, fashionistas, and designers – and DJ Pingo is cut from the same cloth. A consistent figure on the DJ scene in Sweden for over 10 years, Pingo’s resume reads like a ”who’s who” list of the finest clubs in the region. Pingo has been resident and guest DJ at leading clubs. Pingo was the mastermind and promoter behind the phenomenally successful ”Club Soleil” in Gothenburg. Beyond Sweden’s shores, DJ Pingo (often with DJ partner Bobby de Moda) has played in Denmark, Norway, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and Stateside.
