Emily Vassell

Since 2022, I’ve been a resident DJ with Word of Mouth Events, playing club nights, all-dayers, promo events and opening the main stage at WOM’s 4,500+ capacity summer festival at Himley Hall.

In 2024, Andy Ward invited me onto Vocal Booth Radio, leading to performances at the Spain Weekender pre-party and, in 2025, the Farewell Weekender main event.

I’m now part of the Vocal Booth Radio family as a chat moderator and host of the award-winning monthly Girls on Top show, every 4th Thursday, 6pm–8pm UK time. Expect soulful, gospel and uplifting house, plus special shows featuring Michelle Weeks, Rona Ray, Artwork Sounds and India.

I also curated Reminisce, a 14-hour Vocal Booth Radio Station Takeover Day.

2026 brings WOM’s 5,000-capacity summer festival, sell-out events, the Bournemouth Soul & House Weekender with the VBR family, and my Ibiza debut with Soul Heaven at O Beach Ibiza, broadcasting live for Vocal Booth Radio.

Love your moment bosters.
