Born and raised in the SF Bay and fell in love with the art of DJing in the 80's while in HS/College. Given my "limited budget" could not learn DJing on proper equipment. Had a low end Technics SLBD22 and a tape deck; not ideal, but helped me really learn to beat match by ear. Like many, got out of DJing whenlife got busy with work and family, but reengaged with this passion back in 2023. Still learning to leverage all the new technology which is amazing, but still relying on some of my old school instincts I developed back in the day. Given the era I grew up in, my sets are primarily 80s/90s Freestyle, R&B, New Wave, Top 40. My inspiration is the one and only Cameron Paul (may he RIP)...if you grew up in the Bay in the 80's, you know CP.
