Mia Legenstein is known for her bass heavy, minimal beats in contrast with charming electronic soundscapes. Deep house, tech house, minimal, down beat, lounge, ambient, French chansons, classical and experimental avant-garde, all combine for a highly versatile DJ-artist.
Mia loves experimenting with different genres and influences. With her openness to different styles of music and her sense of creating the right atmosphere, she has become a popular DJ for events.
As a sound designer, live-composer, vocal performance artist & DJ she has performed on stage in many well-known clubs, festivals, theatres and other venues. Openings of exhibitions, fashion shows, literary readings and art auctions are regularly accompanied by her soundscapes.
Mia Legenstein graduated with a Masters-degree in Musicology from University Vienna and studied at the Sorbonne-Université de Paris IV. She gained a certificate of Electronic Music Producer from the SAE Institute Vienna.
