DJ MDA has been DJing over 30 years. He started out at the age of 14 after spending hours listening to pirate radio stations. Through listening to pirate radio MDA got hooked on the sounds of Electro and Hip Hop, and then on to the sounds of Acid and Chicago house. He started to frequent the rave scene by going to illegal house parties, and then going to events such as Sunrise, Biology, Raindance, Spiral Tribe to name but a few. He got so caught up in the whole scene he decided he wanted to play out, and thought by getting on pirate radio he could live out his dream.
