Francisco Alexandre Pedro, known as MAKOI, is an Angolan DJ and producer bringing the rhythms of Angola to global dancefloors. Blending deep African roots with European club energy, his sound is powerful, unifying, and driven by purpose.
Raised in one of Luanda’s poorest neighborhoods, he rose to national fame producing for major Angolan artists, breaking barriers with Titica, and earning gold and platinum success in Portugal alongside Bispo.
Now based in the Netherlands, MAKOI is building bridges between cultures through music he calls a force of healing, resilience, and pride.
