I am DJ Henry with roots tracing back to the vibrant salsa scene of the 80's and 90's In New York. Raised in Bogotá Colombia, my love for music and dance was instilled by my mother, a passionate dancer herself. Migrating to the U.S. in 1978, I became a key figure in the salsa scene, spinning vinyl and mastering the craft by listening to salsa rhythms from the legendary salsa DJ's of Queens New York, the likes of Fajardo & Jorgito of the iconic Juan Pachanga, the best salsa club in New York in the 80's and 90's. Spinning at Elans in 1988, Salsa Rumba in 1990 , El Hueco in 1992, Casa Vieja in 1998, La Panchita in 2008. Spinning two decades & collecting vinyl for 40 yrs.
