Sydney, Australia
DJ Hussler grew up immersed in dance music, from house and garage to hard dance. In the early ’90s, he imported UK and European underground sounds into the South African rave scene before relocating to London in 1998. At the heart of the global club movement, he was shaped by house, techno, and harder styles.
His path shifted when a friend secretly entered him into a national DJ competition. Blending uplifting house with raw energy, DJ Hussler won the Southern England heats and reached the finals, igniting his passion for moving crowds. From 2000–2004, he became a fixture on the UK club circuit, playing venues including Camden Palace (KOKO) London and Insomniacz in Sheffield.
After a long hiatus, DJ Hussler returned in 2025 with weekly residencies on Groove London Radio and Bondi Radio, multiple releases across house and hard dance (including four on UFO Recordz), and a new house project under the House Husslers alias. He’s since played alongside Ben Nott, Hodgie, and Bushwacka.
