For many years I was obsessed first and foremost with Drum and Bass - starting mixing in 1997, I played under my original name DJ Mikey at venues in Bristol including Thekla and Lakota and was a regular at student nights.

Returning to London, from 2004 I also began to expand into Breaks (breakbeat) - drawn to the funky electro sounds of Plump DJs and the darker more techy NuSkool flavours of the time.

Playing at parties in London venues like The Social in subsequent years, my sets took on a more varied nature around House & Electro, loving the energy of mixing seemingly disparate styles if they were similar enough BPM.

Moving to Berlin in 2014-2017 brought with it a beautiful descent into the darker world of techno that continues to be a mainstay of my repertoire today.
