(Insta: djdadbristol) DJ Dad started living in 1956 and DJing in Leeds and then London in 1972. He has played at most of the UK’s leading festivals and clubs across Bristol and London. Since 2008 Dad has been the resident DJ and co-programmer for the Wandering Word now Phantom Laundry, the spoken word/music tent at Shambala.
Dad has also programmed the live music and DJ nights at the legendary Plough Inn in Easton, Bristol and has a monthly residency there.
He’s dedicated to supporting Bristol’s live music scene and produced A Bristol Record with Ben Capp in 2016. This heavyweight vinyl double album featured exclusively Bristol artists recording new material that year.
