DJ AltonB has been spinning for 25+ years mostly in the Deep House scene of Cape Town.
His passion for good underground house music was ignited and fuelled by parties such as Deep Heat & Foo Funk at clubs like Deluxe & More.
AltonB went on to host his own House Music party called Norticulture & also teamed up with Myrim K to host Mi Casa at Deluxe.
As a DJ, his mixes contain classics fused with newer tracks and his sets are not confined to a single genre, but rather an offering of pure, good music.
His favourite is to spin anything from deep, soulful & vocal sounds to the more bouncy, tech & jacking tracks & his mixing is sometimes animated with sampling & beat-juggling.
His highlights include playing to 300+ crowds at Thunder City & Good Hope Centre, playing a number of sets for ‘Fresh From The Underground’ at Deluxe & playing Deep Heat’s New Year’s Eve Party at Manga Rossa. In December 2018, he opened the annual SKYY Vodka Party at Gannet Restaurant in Mossel Bay.
