It all began for Det in the late 90's after buying two Gemini belt driven turntables and a Synergy Mixer along with 27 Trance records but, It was in 2018 when DETON8's digital journey was about to begin.
In the early days of his DJ career, DETON8 was given the opportunity to play at The Tavern’s DNB events. This prompted him to build his DnB collection quickly and subsequently, he fell in love with the genre.
The Tavern has seen the likes of Shaun Dean, Phibes, Pelikan, Foor and many more gracing its turntables. Impressed by his performances, DETON8 was invited to play at a Tech House and Techno night at The Common Rooms.
From here DETON8 has played Venues, Events and Festivals across the South-west of England and Wales such as Higher State of Trance, Tribute Fest, Flashback and Godney Gathering and Ministry of Sound London.
Det will dive into Music Production at his home studio, His musical influences include Liam Howlett, Boris Brejcha, Giuseppe Ottaviani
