DEPARTURE is Southern California's longest dance show at a length of 4 hours, Saturday nights (7-11 PM) on KX 93.5FM, based out of Laguna Beach in Orange County, California.
DEPARTURE embraces the breadth of modern electronic & dance music and brings it to the FM dial like no one else in the area, just as KX 93.5FM does with alt/indie rock. Advancing technology & the internet have brought forth new, exciting & talented artists whose original works, remixes & re-envisioned classics all blur genre lines, making "dance music" accessible to most everyone. Sadly, they're seldom heard on air. It's time to fix that.
