Cued Sessions feels like a natural next step in the career of Dutch-based artist Thymen Holleman.
Back in the late ’90s and 00s, Thymen made his mark on the dance scene as a producer, with projects like Solid Sessions (including the well-known track “Janeiro”) and a number of other dance projects. With Cued Sessions, he’s returning to the scene simply for the love of the music.
Cued Sessions is all about regularly sharing live mixes, combining the latest releases with forgotten gems and moving effortlessly between different subgenres. It’s his way of celebrating his love for EDM while also paying respect to its rich history.
While he’s not a fan of putting music into boxes, his sound can roughly be described as a mix of deep, organic, progressive and tech house.
