To hell with false modesty: Crammed seems to be recognized as one of the most adventurous & boundary-breaking independent labels worldwide. Based in Brussels and resolutely cosmopolitan-minded, the label keeps reinventing itself, and has constantly been coming up with new sounds, mixing elements of rock, world music, pop and electronica ever since its inception in the early '80s.
Crammed's released 350+ albums and 250 singles by artists from all over the world, across imprints such as Made To Measure, SSR, Ziriguiboom & the Congotronics series. Today, Crammed feels that borders between genres are no longer indispensable, so most releases tend to come out under the simple "Crammed" banner.
