Splintersville

Readers of the famous Weller's "Splinters Mailing List" know what I'm talking about. This project, (un)released 7 years ago, included bands and artists with at least a member subscribed to Splinters. We collected with passion original songs only, then clashed against the apathy of distributors and record labels. Coupla years later I played about half of it at MRUK (with some good feedback by the listeners). Here's a second chance, at least somebody, if only band members and friends, will be curious to hear it in full. Amongst the artists The Jamm (Jam tribute band, of course) offered 2 original songs (a rarity itself), Billy Franks (Faith Brothers) was ready to record 2 exclusive tracks, and so on. Jazz Blues Folk Indie Pop...there's a wide range of styles, and, imho, the resulting mix stands well the test of time!
