Captain Stax™ is my nickname since 1980 (Marvel Comics + Stax Records to "blame"), resurrected for my non-professional music activities of executive record producer and web DJ.
I joined Mod Radio UK in 2004, with a weekly slot on Fridays, originally called "Captain's Log" then, more simply "The Captain Stax Show™". I run the monthly "VIP Selectors" : my fave bands are in command of the show, each member is involved, playing influences and heritage, making it a very eclectic fun hour.
