Darren Cooke aka DJ Cookie started his career at a small venue called Tempo in Warrington in 1998, where he held a residency for over 3 years, before being invited to play at the FX Club in Warrington. During this time Cookie soon got invited to play further afield such as Leeds, where he held a monthly residency at the Mint Club for an event called ‘It’s a Spiritual Thing’. Cookie also appeared as a guest for one of Manchester’s high-profile events called ‘Development’.
DJ Cookie was also one half of an event called ‘Back2Luv’ where he formed a partnership called ‘The Back2Luv Boys’ where they played alongside some of the industries most talented producers/DJs from across the globe, such as Sean McCabe, Bobby & Steve (Groove Odyssey), John Morales and also the likes of Groove Assassin and Neil Pearce (Rhemi Music) and playing in Ibiza for one of the Islands most up and coming events called ‘Groove Odyssey’.
