Chukku was born in Germany and his interest in music started at early age of being 15 years old. He played music in several local bands like Decry, Mahomets Gesang and April Sun as guitarist and vocalist. Those were his first personal imprints of independent underground music. Later on, his interest went into Electronic music and soon he started DJing, aka Terry York, playing in clubs all over Germany and overseas. Famous Clubs like Rheingold Saal (Duesseldorf), Neuschwanstein (Cologne), Funky Chicken (Cologne) Nachtflug (Cologne) …… to just name a few. He also played on large events like Greenkomm as well as side events of the famous Loveparade (Berlin) and the ever famous island in Ibiza. After Djing over a decade he turned back into Live music recording and worked with serveral artist and record labels in Cologne.

Now he is back with his releases on his own record label Souta, !
