Amazing Graces

Here's my Easter offering: carefully selected versions of the song "Amazing Grace".

When I first thought of this playlist a few years ago, I feared that it would turn out to be boringly repetitive. Instead, at least to my ear, this collection sounds much like the variations on a symphonic theme you often hear in a classical piece.

Just as with my most recent cloudcast, "For Claire", I've hesitated to share this with strangers because it's a very personal collection. These tunes are what I put on to help me through my grief a few minutes after my mother drew her last breath.

But I do want to share it now that a couple of years have gone by because I continue to be amazed (pun intended) at how sublimely soothing this hour of music can be over and over again.
